Two troopers injured after militants attack CRPF convoy in Pampore


At least two CRPF men were injured on Saturday in a suspected militant attack on a forces convoy on the Jammu-Srinagar highway near EDI Pampore.

A CRPF spokesman Bhavesh Choudhury said that two troopers were injured in the attack.

He said that the convoy on its way to Srinagar from Jammu was attacked by the militants near the EDI building.

An employee of the EDI told Greater Kashmir over phone that at least hundred people, including staff and trainees, were trapped inside the building.
